Pilates is much more than just the next
fitness craze.
It is a proven method of exercise that has been practiced since
Joseph Pilates first began teaching the concepts around 1914.
Here at Fitness Exchange,
we offer both reformer based group classes and mat classes.
Our studio is equipped
with six Allegro Reformers, but for those persons who would rather not use equipment,
we also offer mat classes. If you’ve never participated in a mat class,
we recommend that you attend a reformer class to
familiarize yourself with some
basic moves.
Mat classes use no equipment to help participants with body positioning,
which makes them more difficult technically than reformer based classes.
Our
instructor is a veteran Pilates teacher
and group exercise specialist
who can help you plan your program.
